Cast

Chris Oliveira
"The DM"

Known in the Realms as "Kris the Grey", this powerful wizard may just be the reason our intrepid heroes find themselves in the Realms at all. Whatever the case may be, back on Earth Chris serves as the game's dastardly Dungeon Master, pulling absolutely no punches when it comes to challenging the player-characters.

Erik Scott de Bie
"Elric Thalavar"

Erik Scott de Bie writes fantasy, science fiction, and superheroes. He is best known for his Shadowbane series in the Forgotten Realms, his post-apocalyptic World of Ruin fantasy series, and the ongoing Justice/Vengeance series of superhero novels. As a game designer, he has worked in everything from D&D and Pathfinder to Iron Kingdoms, including such hits as the Neverwinter Campaign Setting and the Shadowfell: Gloomwrought and Beyond boxed set. He lives in Seattle with his wife and pets.

In the Realms Erik has taken on the moniker of Elric Thalavar, for better or worse - and continues to be haunted by the name of one of his most enduring creations: "Shadowbane"

Rhiannon Held

Rhiannon Held is the author of the Silver series of urban fantasy novels published by Tor. As R. Z. Held, she writes the Amsterdam Institute series of space opera novellas. Her short fiction, also under R. Z. Held, has most recently appeared in Beneath Ceaseless Skies. She lives in the Pacific Northwest, where she works as an archaeologist and technical editor for an environmental compliance firm.

In this new world, Rhiannon wants nothing more than to get home and away from this adventuring and danger, even with the powerful magic that calls to her.

Alexandra Pitchford
"Amara Valerian"

Alexandra Pitchford is an author, game designer, and ttrpg streamer who has written for games like Shadowrun and Vampire the Masquerade and has published multiple short stories - the most recent set in the Greymantle setting, with more to come.

The only member of the group with no desire to go home, Alexandra now operates as the elven thief Amara Valerian - transformed by a power even she doesn't quite understand.

Randy Henderson
"Randonius Hendersonius"

Randy Henderson is the author of the darkly humorous urban fantasy series that includes Finn Fancy Necromancy, Bigfootloose & Finn Fancy Free, and Smells Like Finn Spirit, published by Tor (US) and Titan (UK). Randy enjoys D&D in most of its forms, though he’s still waiting for Curse of the Azure Bonds to finish booting on his Commodore 64.

Fittingly for his love of music, performance, and humor, Randy has come to be known as the vibrantly-dressed bard Randonius Hendersonius, bringing lightheartedness and optimism to the otherwise serious party.

Joel Everett

Joel has long been a member of the Dungeon Scrawlers community, proving himself to have a knack for Realmslore and clever deductions before earning a spot as a Stream Moderator.

Brought into the Realms not long after the rest of the group, Joel hasn't bothered to come up with a new moniker but has still found himself transformed into something altogether unexpected.
